Work where other fail.
I'm a big fan of animes, strangely fansuber seem to enjoy using exotic codecs and containers... I often need to convert them in a more standard video like xvid-mp3 avi.I have a lots of tools, the one I used the most was ffmpgX, but like I said, some time the video files are badly encoded or the codecs-containers choice are wear and even a great tool like ffmpgX fail to convert them. I recently discovered VideoVangelist this great software work were others fail, this software always work, even with badly encoded files...Great, thank you very much, you save me a lot of trouble! P.S. You propose the version 2.1.2 but i download the version 2.1.6 from versiontracker?
Pros: Work perfectly. May be easier to set for peoples with no much knowledge of video settings.
Cons: The setting window is somewhat a little primitive, sometime I miss some of the setting possibility of other tools, but this is nothing for a tool that is so reliable.
